Welcome to 2012! I hope you are as excited about the new year as I am. I think 2012 will bring great things. For starters, I am so excited about the potential for this blog. Bringing a community of g33ks, nerds, dweebs and dorks together sounds like a good time to me!
Couple updates to the g33king out community. First, you may notice that the default "followers" has been updated corrected to "g33k l33t". If you consider yourself a g33k, chances are you already know what l33t (aka leet) means and so during the following explanation you will most likely be rolling your eyes, grinning madly since you are "in the know" and wondering who in the world doesn't know what l33t refers to. But, for those who haven't heard the expression "leet", here's what I'm referencing....
From wikipedia: (how did we ever live without wikipedia, the source of all answers to our burning questions? Do you know you can even wikipedia "wikipedia"? Now you do!)

So, it boils down to combining two somewhat disparate concepts into the perfect description for the followers of this blog....the cream of the crop g33ks. How perfect.
